Scapa Group chief financial officer steps down to pursue other interests

Scapa Group plc (LON:SCPA) said on Friday that finance director Graham Hardcastle is stepping down in October after two years in the role to “pursue other interests”.

The company, which supplies bonding and adhesive products to healthcare and industrial markets, said Hardcastle will be replaced by Oskar Zahn.

Zahn has been the chief financial officer of agriculture producer Spearhead International for 10 years, during which time the company has expanded through 22 acquisitions.

He has also held senior roles at Telefex, British Airways and Georgia-Pacific

"I am delighted to welcome Oskar to the role of chief financial officer at Scapa,” said chief executive Heejae Chae.

 “His breadth of knowledge and experience in the various industry sectors will be of great value to the Company as we pursue our strategy for growth."
