EPIC operates in 205 privately owned locations, supplementing BBA Aviation’s network which will now grow to over 400 locations.
The new business unit is expected to contribute some US$400mln of revenue in the first year following the acquisition.
It is expected that the transaction will complete in the third quarter, subject to the securing of governmental and regulatory approvals.
“We are pleased to have reached an agreement to acquire EPIC,” said Mark Johnstone, BBA Aviation chief executive.
“This acquisition fully supports the strategic development of Signature through increasing our network relevance, extending the range of fuel and non-fuel services we offer our customers across our unique FBO network and continuing to establish a competitive cost structure through investment in technology and economies of scale.”
