EDF is in talks to sell a 49% stake in its UK wind farms portfolio, according to a report in the Financial Times, which cited unnamed sources.
The newspaper said a disposal could be worth up to £600mln.and the French state-controlled energy giant has hired Barclays to advise on the sale.

It added that binding offers for the business, which owns 23 onshore and one offshore wind farms, are due towards the end of May.
