Discussions with US authorities have been going on for “several years”, but the Office has now formally recognised the Israeli firm’s technological innovation and has approved its patentability.
“IDenta Corp holds a number of US patents. This will add another important patent to the respectable list that already exists on the company's platform,” said chief operating officer Amichai Glattstein.
“IDenta is constantly innovating new technologies in the field of forensic detection and identification. We are very proud of the fact that our technology has been officially recognised by competent authorities around the world.”
IDenta’s stock surged 39% to US$1.39 on Tuesday Morning.
