Chief commercial officer Laurence Cook is the new chief executive officer of blur Group PLC (LON:BLUR), replacing founder Philip Letts.
Cook joined blur in November and has been instrumental in driving customer acquisition in the Enterprise sector, blur's statement to the stock market said.
He has 25 years' experience in the information and communication technology industry, having led global sales teams at industry giants Siemens, Cable & Wireless and NTL.

"We are delighted that Laurence has agreed to drive the next phase of the company's development and growth and I would like to pay recognition to Philip's contribution as founder and the driving force behind the company's history," said David Rowe, chairman of blur.
The announcement of Letts's departure was made after the market closed last night. The shares opened 25% higher this morning at 3.90p.
