88 Energy Ltd (LON:88E) has provided the latest update on the Icewine-2 well in Alaska where the flow-back of fracking fluid is ongoing.
The company told investors that a total of 15.3% of stimulation fluid has now been recovered to date.
It added that a recent increase of salinity in the recovered fluid possibly indicates that some in-situ reservoir fluid is starting to flow back.
“The forward plan remains unchanged and may include shut in for pressure build-up and soak and/or artificial lift to increase the rate of stimulation fluid recovery,” the company said in a statement.
