NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd (LON:NESF) has acquired six UK solar power projects worth £30.5mln in ‘investment value’.
The assets are located in Dorset, Somerset, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Berkshire and South Humberside, and comprise 28 megawatts of peak capacity.
The NESF portfolio now has 44 assets with a total of 467 MW peak capacity, and worth a total of £536mln in investment value.
NESF expects the new deals to complete before the end of the first half of 2017. There are three separate, unrelated counterparties to the share-based deals.
All six projects are due to receive benefits of Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC) as they were successfully connected before the March 2017 deadline.
