Investors will get plenty of economic data to digest next week. The EU’s competitiveness indicators are due out on Monday.
Tuesday will see the release of EU balance of trade, US ABC consumer confidence, buildings permits and housing starts data as well as US producer price index.
Consumer price index and mortgage applications updates and FOMC interest rate minutes will be out in the US on Wednesday.
EU consumer confidence, US initial and continuing jobless claims, leading indicators and the Philly Fed index are due out on Thursday.
EU balance of payments will be released on Friday.
Next week’s UK data will include consumer price and retail prices indexed on Tuesday, Bank of England interest rate minutes on Wednesday, retail sales and internet retail sales figures on Thursday and mortgage approvals data on Friday.
