Simon Clifton, chief technology officer at rural broadband specialist Satellite Solutions (LON:SAT), discusses its latest acquisition in France and a new commercial contract with SES Techcom Services with Proactive Investors.
"Satellite capacity is a buyer's market and it works not dissimilar to other commodity markets in Europe. The larger you are, the more you combine, therefore the better the price you can get," he points out. "This is just one milestone really."
With regards to the acquisition of Viveole, he remarks that it "adds more to the scale and therefore the purchasing power of the company."
"We see 2017 as a massive opportunity for both organic growth and acquisition," he adds.
