Anglo Asian Mining PLC (LON:AAZ) has identified multiple targets from an aerial survey of the land surrounding its Gedabek mine in Azerbaijan. Grab sampling at one of the shallow targets, Zehmet, contained grades of 43 and 95 g/t of gold.
Nu-Oil’s (LON:NUOG) joint venture MFDevco has signed a collaboration agreement with engineering giant Petrofac to develop stranded offshore gas resources as a source of electricity. The companies will work together to engineer, deliver and operate the gas to wire facilities.

The entire 737 Max fleet has been grounded since March after a second fatal crash but IAG chief executive Willie Walsh said he had every confidence the plane would return to service in the coming months.
