Black Swan Graphene (TSX-V:SWAN) chief operating officer Michael Edwards tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that the company has a unique position in the graphene business due to its top-down technology, using a fully-patented graphene high shear liquid exfoliation process under license from Trinity College Dublin.
Edwards says Black Swan has developed its own process patents, using the core technology to develop unique processes.
The key focus is to work in the major bulk graphite and graphene areas of concrete and polymers, where there are real-world challenges to reduce CO2 emissions and where bulk graphene offers excellent cost-performance benefits, he adds.
