Deepspatial Inc (CSE:DSAI) said it has formed a partnership with the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC).
The Toronto-based artificial intelligence company will help faculty and students gain insight into the use of artificial intelligence in population and public health research as well as planning, operations, governance, and decision-making in healthcare.
Deepspatial CEO Dr. Rahul Kushwah said the partnership with USC marks an important milestone for the company.

"While we intend not only to share our expertise with the faculty and students of the university, but also gain knowledge and resources in the process – and of course doing our part in UN's sustainable plan by helping governments in various global regions. We continue to look forward to building long-term shareholder value through our IP, notable work, and partnerships," Kushwah said in a statement.
Deepspatial said it presented its platform and its contribution to achieving sustainable development at the UNESCO Artificial Intelligence for Information Accessibility 2022 Global Conference held by the United Nations in September 2022.
Following the showcase of its technology at the conference, Deepspatial said it was approached by several organizations from the government, education, and research sectors.
Along with using data sources to make healthcare decisions, Deepspatial said it will work with USC to generate reports, including manuscripts to be submitted for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Deepspatial said it has a proprietary Geospatial AI technology-driven platform for use in education, healthcare, agriculture and law enforcement.
