Infinity Stone Ventures Corp (CSE:GEMS) announced that it is about to begin its winter drill program on the Buda lithium project near Thunder Bay, Ontario, to test pegmatite layers perpendicular to outcrop zones.
The company said it anticipates having pre-drill surveying of roads, trails and pads completed by November 30, 2022, with drilling expected to start by December 5.
“The Buda Lithium Project presents an exciting opportunity to develop a potential lithium deposit located very close to infrastructure, with promising initial results for LCT (lithium-cesium-tantalum) mineralization,” Infinity Stone Ventures CEO Zayn Kalyan said in a statement.

“With the initiation of our second drill program this year, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to further exploration across our project portfolio,” Kalyan added.
Infinity Stone noted the winter drill program will cover 400 to 600 metres (m), depending on initial results.
The company added that drilling follows the recovery of grab samples assaying up to 367 parts per million (ppm) lithium, 2,090 ppm rubidium (Rb), and 4,200 ppm beryllium, as well as channel samples up to 1,408 ppm Rb over 4m.
In addition, the company said it was able to re-mobilize drilling equipment from the Rockstone Graphite fall drill program to minimize costs and increase efficiencies.
Infinity Stone’s mission is to be a diversified, single-source supplier of the critical energy metals used in the clean energy revolution, alongside its established Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution portfolio. The company's primary business units include HealthCheck (Stratum Health Technologies LLC) and its energy metals portfolio.
