ITM Power PLC (AIM:ITM) has found a replacement for long-serving chief executive Dr Graham Cooley who announced his intention to quit the energy storage and green fuel business in September.
He is Dennis Schulz, a senior executive from German gases group Linde, who also helped manage a strategic relationship between the two companies.
ITM chairman Sir Roger Bone said: "We undertook a thorough search process with several high-calibre candidates and we have no doubt that Dennis has the right experience, skills and enthusiasm to take ITM Power to the next phase in its development.
“He knows the company and technology well and is ideally qualified to help ITM reach its full potential. He will be warmly welcomed in Sheffield."
