Hawkmoon Resources Corp (CSE:HM, OTCQB:HWKRF) said it has received assay results for the final five drill holes from its 2022, 10-hole drill program on the Wilson Gold project in Québec.
These included 13.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over one metre (m) from 230m to 231m downhole in drill hole HMW 22-32.
The gold projects developer said both of the 450m-long holes HMW 22-32 and HMW 22-33 intersected gold at depth in the Toussaint Zone.
“We are motivated to continue intercepting gold at significant depths, as well as expanding previously known deep gold zones,” Hawkmoon Resources CEO Branden Haynes said in a statement.

“Growing the tonnage potential at Wilson is very encouraging to all of us,” Haynes added.
Hawkmoon noted that the Toussaint mineralized gold system remains open at depth and to the southwest.
The company said 164 holes have been drilled on the property since 1956, with drilling having defined three significant mineralized areas - the Toussaint, Central, and Midrim zones.
Hawkmoon Resources is focused entirely on its two Quebec gold projects. The Wilson gold project is located in one of the world's largest gold-endowed areas, the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. It is accessed by government-maintained roads and is near the east of the town of Lebel-sur-Quevillon. The second project is situated in the Belleterre Gold Camp southwest of Val-d’Or.
