Cambridge Cognition Holdings PLC (AIM:COG) has inked a strategic partnership that provides it with a low-cost entry to China, the world’s second-largest clinical trial market.
The UK group, whose neuroscience technology is used in drug evaluation studies, is teaming up with Luca Healthcare.
Luca, a screening software company, has signed an exclusive licensing agreement. The pair will also potentially collaborate on "co-developments to improve both companies' solutions".
Cambridge Cognition chief executive, Matthew Stork, told investors: "The Chinese pharmaceutical and healthcare markets offer a significant commercial opportunity for Cambridge Cognition, and we have partnered with Luca Healthcare to capitalise on this.
“The team at Luca Healthcare have impressed us with their speed to commercialise other digital healthcare solutions, working with leading pharmaceutical companies in the region and, as a result, building a fast growth business."
