4:05pm: TUT Fitness Group sprints ahead late day
Shares of TUT Fitness Group Inc (TSXV:GYM) shot up 129% to $0.08 as the provider of high-performance and affordable micro gyms said it has signed an agreement with Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse, who will become the company’s first major global ambassador.
TUT noted that De Grasse is incorporating the TUT Trainer 2.0 and TUT Rower 2.0 into his training regime in preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics and will reinforce the company's mission to make functional fitness training available for everyone.
Solar Alliance Energy, meanwhile, closed up 21% to $0.085, while Calibre Mining gained 11% to $0.82, NG Energy International finished 9% higher to $0.97, and Southern Energy ended up 7% at $0.99.
11:50am: Solar Alliance Energy, Calibre Mining shares power higher
Solar Alliance Energy Inc (TSXV:SOLR) shares climbed 36% to $0.095, on volume of more than 1.6 million shares, Tuesday after the solar energy solutions provider announced that its third-quarter 2022 revenue soared 990% year over year to $2,753,628, the largest quarterly solar revenue in its history, as the company said it continued construction on its backlog of projects under contract.
As well, shares of Calibre Mining Corp (TSX:CXB) gained 11% to $0.82 as the mid-tier gold producer revealed results from the 2022 drill program at its 100% owned Gold project in Nevada, which included 6.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 5.8 metres.
Calibre noted the results show indications of deep, Carlin-type feeder systems.
NG Energy International Corp (TSXV:GASX), meanwhile, reported what it called positive test results at the Brujo-1x well in Colombia. The gas junior said a total of 276.5 feet (out of a total of 389 feet of prospective gas-bearing thickness in the Ciénaga de Oro formation) were perforated with gas production rates of 11.2 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscf/d) from DST-2, 18.2 MMscf/d from DST-3, and 21.2 MMscf/d from DST-4.
Its stock moved up 9% to $0.97 following the announcement.
And, Southern Energy Corp (TSXV:SOU) shares rose 7% to $0.99 on Tuesday after the producer of natural gas and light oil with assets in Mississippi announced 3Q 2022 net earnings of $6.6 million, up from $4.3 million in the year-earlier period, on sales of $19.2 million, which was 268% higher than during the same period last year.
