Technology Minerals PLC (LSE:TM1) said early-stage sampling from its Aramo (Asturmet) project in Spain has confirmed high-grade copper, cobalt and nickel mineralisation.
Exploration work included 205 grab samples and lithogeochemical studies within four accessible working levels at the historic Aramo mine in Asturias.
Assy results ranged from 1% - 28% copper, 0.1% - 1.88% cobalt and 0.1% - 1.68% nickel.
Alex Stanbury, the company's chief executive, said he was pleased with the early results and noted that exploration will now be expanded to gain a better understanding of the full potential of the project.
“The Asturmet project forms part of our wider strategy to move forward and advance multiple exploration campaigns across our portfolio of mineral resource projects focused on cobalt, copper, nickel, manganese, and lithium," he added in a statement.
