4:05pm: Fission 3.0, dentalcorp Holdings adds to gains late afternoon
Fission 3.0 closed up 60% to $0.12, while Mawson Gold rose 7% to $0.15, dentalcorp Holdings finished 32% higher to $8, and Solstice Gold ended up 29% at $0.09.
11:40am: Fission 3.0, dentalcorp Holdings shares climb
Fission 3.0 Corp (TSXV:FUU) shares jumped 40% to $0.105, on volume of more than 4.3 million shares, Monday after the uranium project generator and exploration company announced that it has intersected what it called extremely radioactive and off-scale, or greater than 65,000 counts per second (cps), mineralization in a new uranium discovery at its 100% owned Patterson Lake North project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin region.
As well, shares of Mawson Gold Limited (TSX:MAW) gained 14% to $0.16 as the explorer/developer said its 60%-owned Southern Cross Gold Ltd subsidiary revealed drill results from the Sunday Creek gold project in Australia, which included 305.8 metres (m) of 2.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent from 319.2m.
dentalcorp Holdings Ltd (TSX:DNTL), meanwhile, reported that its board of directors has formed a special committee of non-executive, independent directors to undertake, in consultation with its financial and legal advisors, a review and evaluation of strategic alternatives that may be available to the company to unlock shareholder value.
dentalcorp is Canada’s largest network of dental practices. Its stock popped 22% to $7.40 following the announcement.
And, Solstice Gold Corp (TSXV:SGC) shares rose 29% to $0.09 on Monday after the junior explorer announced results of the Phase 1 drill program at its Red Lake Extension (RLX) project in northern Ontario, which included 1.96 g/t gold over 1.5m.

Solstice also noted that a 4,000m, fully funded and permitted Phase 2 diamond drill program at RLX will start in January 2023.
