Chariot Limited said that its Anchois gas project offshore Morocco remains on track after reports of a meeting with the government and state-run energy companies appeared in the French media.
UK-listed Chariot said it recently held a workshop with representatives of various ministries and institutions about the roadmap for the development of the gas field.
Chariot added the workshop was held as a closed meeting so any information published solely represents the views of the reports' authors.
Plans continue to progress, it added, and the project remains on track with all parties working collaboratively to ensure the timely delivery of the development.
