Live Company appoints new CFO, South Korean partner invests £250,000

The proceeds of the new investment will contribute to working capital

Live Company Group PLC (AIM:LVCG) has appointed a new chief financial officer and said South Korean joint venture partner Byoung Goo (Jason) Lee has invested a further £250,000 in the company.

The live events company said John Miller started as CFO earlier this month in what will initially be a part-time, non-board role, moving to full time at the start of next year.

Subject to due diligence, it is intended that Miller, who the company said is a chartered accountant with “broad CFO experience working for both listed (FTSE 250) companies and private companies such as Transport for London, EY and Thomas Cook”, will join the board in 2023.

The proceeds of the new investment from Jason Lee, meanwhile, will contribute to working capital.

A total of 10,000,000 new shares will be issued at 2.5p per share and be subject to a two-year lock-up and will only be allowed to be sold via the company's broker.

Live Company chairman David Ciclitira said: "I am delighted that Jason Lee has increased his investment in the company and look forward to working alongside him as he assists me with the strategic direction of the KPOP and ART divisions.

“Our new CFO John brings a vast amount of experience to the company and I am pleased to have him on board as we continue our growth story. I look forward to his joining the board of directors in 2023 subject to the usual due diligence checks."
