Poolbeg Pharma to hold capital markets day this month

Attendees, which will comprise of analysts, investors and media, will gain a greater understaind of Poolbeg’s model and development strategy, it said

Poolbeg Pharma PLC (AIM:POLB, OTCQB:POLBF) said it will be holding a capital markets day on Wednesday 30 November between 10am and 12.45pm.

Chief executive of the pharmaceutical company Jeremy Skillington will chair the event and “provide insights into a number of the company’s growing pipeline of infectious disease vaccines and treatments.”

Skillington will also provide details on its innovative artificial intelligence programmes, a statement said.

Attendees, which will comprise analysts, investors and media, will gain a greater understaind of Poolbeg’s model and development strategy, it said.

Aside from Skillington, there will be a number of guest speakers, including Dr Tal Almog of CytoReason, one of Poolbeg's artificial intelligence partner, Derek Gilroy, head of the centre for clinical pharmacology and Professor of Immunology at University College London and Professor Brendan Buckley, co-founder of Minerva Medical.

Attendees will also be able to pose questions to Poolbeg’s management team.

Cathal Friel, chairman and co-founder of Poolbeg said “Poolbeg has entered a very exciting phase in its development and has quite a number of near term value inflection points approaching, as such, we felt this would be a wonderful opportunity to provide a deeper dive into some of our areas of growth.”
