Silver Range Resources finds gold and silver in staking of Bankroll property in Nevada

High-grade low sulphidation gold and silver mineralization at Bankroll is hosted in an altered sulphide-bearing tuff unit, which Silver Range believes may be laterally extensive

Silver Range Resources Ltd (TSX-V:SNG, OTC:SLRRF) has issued an update on the staking of its Bankroll property in the Jessup mining district in Nevada and other recent events.

The Bankroll property covers the former Gold Ore claims located about five kilometers west-southwest of the Jessup deposit, which is currently held by Torrent Gold Inc. Historical sampling returned assays up to 22.90 grams per ton of gold and 300 g/t of silver, and cursory sampling by Silver Range during returned assays up to 2.9 g/t gold and 149 g/t silver.

Eleven grab samples were collected during staking, none of which returned analyses greater than 5 g/t gold and one of which returned greater than 100 g/t of silver, the company said.

High-grade low sulphidation gold and silver mineralization at Bankroll is hosted in an altered sulphide-bearing tuff unit, which Silver Range believes may be laterally extensive. That means there is potential to discover a large stratabound mineralized horizon on the property, the company said.

Elsewhere, Silver Range discovered a significant mineralized jasperoid breccia in the northern portion of its Steptoe project earlier this year, following-up results from a large-scale stream sediment survey program and subsequent ridge and spur soil sampling.

There is an extensive gold-in-soil anomaly associated with the breccia which returned a peak response of 249 parts per billion of gold. Silver Range plans to follow up this discovery with hand trenching and systematic sampling in 2023.

Additionally, Silver Range recently completed a geological mapping and sampling program at its Roughrider property near Tule Canyon in Esmeralda County, Nevada. Preliminary results indicate that silver mineralization on the Roughrider property and gold mineralization on the Strongbox property are related and contiguous, the company said.
