HealthLynked (OTCQB:HLYK) said customers of its subsidiary Medofficedirect can use Synchrony's CareCredit healthcare credit card to finance home medical equipment and medical supplies purchases.
By offering CareCredit, Medofficedirect provides individual and medical practice customers with special financing options to purchase discount medical equipment and supplies for themselves and their patients, according to HealthLynked (OTCQB:HLYK).
HealthLynked (OTCQB:HLYK) CEO Dr Michael Dent said Naples, Florida-based Medofficedirect has demonstrated the demand for a low-cost, direct-to-consumer medical supplier with significant and historic revenue growth.

"We are well positioned to enable customers to purchase HME (home medical equipment) and other medical supplies at substantial discounts," Dent said in a statement.
Medofficedirect customers can apply for the CareCredit credit card on their mobile device, computer, or phone. A credit decision is made within minutes and upon approval, cardholders can use the credit card to purchase products immediately. Cardholders can choose from a variety of financing options, according to HealthLynked (OTCQB:HLYK).
Synchrony general manager of Specialty Markets Claude Royster said his company is happy to work with Medofficedirect, allowing customers to pay for medical equipment and supplies while affording them the ability to pay over time.
"With the addition of CareCredit, Medofficedirect enables its customers to move forward with the purchases they need as part of their healthcare journey," Royster said.
Industry research expert IBISWorld has reported that the US$17.9 billion market for online medical supplies, including large-ticket home medical equipment, has been growing at a rate of 14.9% over the last five years.
HealthLynked said that when patients have an out-of-pocket expense for their medical equipment needs, cost can be a concern and barrier to purchase — especially during this financially challenging time.
To help overcome this challenge, HealthLynked said Medofficedirect will provide Synchrony cardholders a dedicated CareCredit cardholder section on its website.
