Ethernity Networks Ltd (AIM:ENET, OTCQB:ENETF) has picked up another follow-on order for its 5G second-generation wireless base station node.
The new order, this time from an existing US telecoms customer, is to support network functions and critical traffic management, said the virtual network hardware specialist.
Worth US$340,000, this latest order is over and above a US$2mln deployment order for a first-generation ENET FPGA SoC node placed last year and will double its capacity.
David Levi, Ethernity’s chief executive, added: "I am pleased to see the extensive growth in our customer's business and their successful deployment based on our data processing SoC.
“This is the second follow-on contract for Ethernity in a matter of weeks, cementing the industry's opinion that we are a trusted partner providing efficient, cost-effective, and reliable solutions for 5G and broadband."
