Arecor Therapeutics PLC (AIM:AREC) CEO Sarah Howell & scientist Rafic Sukar visited the Proactive London studio on World Diabetes Day to provide an update on the work they're doing to make life easier for those suffering with the disease. Sukar was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as an infant and now works on developing new treatments.
The pair explains some of the challenges that diabetics face each day in managing the condition, and reveal their predictions for when a fully closed loop artificial pancreas system will be available to patients.
