enCore Energy Corp. (enCore Energy Corp. (TSX-V:EU, OTCQB:ENCUF), enCore Energy Corp. (TSX-V:EU, OTCQB:ENCUF)) executive chairman William M. Sheriff tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that a deal to acquire the Alta Mesa in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium project in South Texas from Energy Fuels for US$120 million is 'transformational' for the company.
Sheriff says the acquisition further cements enCore's commitment to near-term, US-based uranium production with our initial focus on South Texas.
Alta Mesa will immediately become a flagship asset amongst enCore's large project portfolio, including its licensed and past-producing Rosita ISR production plant in South Texas, its development-stage Dewey-Burdock and Gas Hills projects in South Dakota and Wyoming, respectively, along with a large resource portfolio in New Mexico.
