Empower Clinics Inc. (CSE:EPW, OTCQB:EPWCF), the integrated healthcare company, said it has appointed Alexis Wukich to its board of directors effective immediately.
Wukich has 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, lawyer, and talent management leader in the US medical industry.
Empower said its board members play “a pivotal role” in overseeing its strategic plan and governance, while also supporting its vision, purpose, values, and strategic growth priorities.

Wukich has served as executive vice president and corporate counsel of long-term care company Danan Healthcare Consulting Group, and as managing director of healthcare staffing company Arriba International Staffing Service.
She has a Master of Business Administration from University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and a JD Law from University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

The company also announced the resignation of director Yoshi Tyler with immediate effect.
