Shanta Gold Limited (AIM:SHG, OTC:SAAGF) has hit more high-grade gold in ongoing drilling at its West Kenya project.
Highlights include 2.1 metres at 16.6 grams per tonne gold, 0.6 metres at 22.3 grams, and 7.9 metres at 5.4 grams.
“The recent drilling results from West Kenya continue to confirm the high-grade nature of this deposit, with visible gold identified across several of the intersections," said Shanta chief executive Eric Zurrin.
“We expect to provide a resource update before the year end at the Isulu and Bushiangala deposits, whilst we should also provide a mineral resource update for Ramula in January.”
The plan is to convert a significant amount of inferred resources into the indicated category.
