Ryanair Holdings PLC (LSE:RYA) will release its latest quarterly results on Monday, 7 November, with UBS analysts predicting the airline will see increases in revenue and net income as passenger numbers continue to rise.
UBS analyst Jarrod Castle forecasts Ryanair's quarterly revenue to be roughly €3.9bn, up from €1.8bn last year, alongside an increase in net income to €1,218mln from €225mln. He also predicted earnings before tax of €1,326mln.
In recently published traffic results, Ryanair reported increased footfall of 15.7mln passengers in October 2022, up from 11.4mln a year earlier, with the airline consistently seeing increased passenger figures year-on-year.
The October traffic figures represented 94% of seats being filled on its aircraft during the month.
With the aviation industry generally operating below pre-pandemic levels, Ryanair has said: “While we remain hopeful that the high rate of vaccinations in Europe will allow the airline and tourism industry to fully recover and finally put Covid behind us, we cannot ignore the risk of new Covid variants in Autumn 2022.
Despite this, it added: “Ryanair plans to grow 2023 traffic to 165m (+11% on pre-Covid traffic) and will pursue its load active, yield passive strategy to achieve this growth.”
