Kidoz Inc, revealed that 503 million monetized impressions were delivered during the third quarter, a 24.1% increase from the 405 million paid impressions delivered in the second quarter of 2022.
The mobile adtech developer and owner of the Kidoz Contextual Ad Network and the Kidoz Publisher software development kit (SDK), also revealed that 255 million video views were delivered during the quarter representing a 42% increase over the 180 million video views in 2Q 2022.
In another positive, the company said over 170 million rich media ads were played in the 3Q, a 23.6% growth increase from 138 million in the previous quarter.

Significantly, the global adtech company retained its 2022 revenue guidance of US$16 million to US$18 million, representing 35% year-over-year growth, despite a backdrop of macro challenges, including a heightened risk of recession, and a general dip in advertising demand.
Market position
According to Kidoz, the global mobile ad market tipped to hit $144 billion in 2022, has seen a slowdown in the second half the year with revenue misses by Amazon, Google, Snapchat, and other companies with ad revenue. Roblox has announced the cessation of all advertising and sponsorship to the 47% of its player base that are under the age of 13.
Significantly, Kidoz said it has not experienced waning advertising demand and in fact has seen “strong double-digit growth in demand.” Such strong growth within the kids segment of advertising signals the acceptance that Kid-Safe advertising solutions are becoming a standard component in more advertising campaigns, noted Kidoz.
Kidoz specializes in safe and compliant monetization for app developers who are responsible for adhering to strict government regulations for advertising to children. In addition, app developers must follow the policies set by platform owners, like Apple and Google, who protect children with strict rules regarding data tracking and the requirement for apps that appeal to children to segment traffic with the use of an age gate.
While no official figures exist, Kidoz estimates that less than 1% of apps currently use age gates in their monetization strategies so the potential for long-term sustained growth is high.
“We anticipate over 50% of our annual business will be conducted in the upcoming 4Q,” said Kidoz, while adding that the Kidoz network “continues to grow rapidly in size” and now boasts more than double the software development kit app adoption than its closest direct mobile ad competitor.
Kidoz said it continues to build “value and trust” with advertisers by facilitating pre-campaign contextual app list planning, live campaign optimizations, and detailed post-campaign reporting and analysis, while maintaining Kidoz's niche offering of private, safe advertising. Kidoz said it has also added many exciting new app publishers, including HyperBeard and Dramaton, to drive growth.
kidoz' fiscal 3Q financial results will be released on November 14, 2022 and the annual general meeting (AGM) is set for November 30, 2022.
