Phunware Inc (NASDAQ:PHUN) is offering a “no build fee” Black Friday sale on its subsidiary Lyte Technology’s personal computers and parts, making PC buying more affordable for gamers and crypto enthusiasts.
Lyte is waiving its standard $100 flat build fee and offering 5% off all parts that come in a build kit, which are delivered as a bundle of parts and enable users to build their own PC at home, according to Phunware. The sale will run during November.
Austin, Texas-based Phunware said Lyte is offering customers a chance to receive a golden ticket with purchases made in November and December, for a chance to win free hardware such as a keyboard, headset, monitor, or a high-end Lyte PC.

Also in November, all build kits are reduced by an additional 5% from the regular price.
Caleb Borgstrom, general manager of gaming at Lyte by Phunware, said: “We know the way to a gamer's heart, especially during the holiday season, is through a next-level PC. That is why – for the entire month of November – we are making it more affordable than ever to make their holiday wishes come true this season."
During November, every time an item is added to the cart, the customer gets to spin the upgrade wheel, offering a free upgrade that can range from additional lighting, extra storage, upgraded RAM and more, the company said.
