Brookside Energy completes pad construction and sets conductor at Wolf Pack Well

Preparations are underway to move housing trailers onto the location and set up in anticipation of the arrival of the drill rig, drill crew and support staff next week.

Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) is making strong progress with the new high-impact Wolf Pack 36-25-1S-4W SXH 2 Well, which is part of its second phase development drilling program in the SWISH Area of Interest (AOI) in Oklahoma’s world-class Anadarko Basin.

The company’s US-based subsidiary and manager of operations Black Mesa Energy, LLC has completed construction of the all-weather pad for the well.

The conductor hole has also been drilled and cased with steel pipe that has been cemented in place.

Drill rig expected next week

Preparations and planning are now underway to move housing trailers onto location and set up in anticipation of the arrival of the drill rig, drill crew and support staff in the week commencing November 7.

The phase two program follows completion of phase one which saw three development wells successfully established in the SWISH AOI – Jewell, Flames and Rangers.

Focused on exploitation not exploration, Brookside generates shareholder value through a disciplined portfolio approach to the acquisition and development of oil and gas assets and the leasing and development of acreage opportunities.
