Prescient Therapeutics provides PTX-100 trial update, readies for investor briefing

Since the last trial update, a patient with relapsed peripheral T cell lymphoma reported a partial response, meaning the size of the cancer tumour has decreased.

Prescient Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:PTX) has reported new data from a clincial trial into its PTX-100 anti-cancer drug candidate.

Eight to 12 patients enrolled in the clinical-stage oncology company’s Phase 1B expansion cohort are undergoing treatment to evaluate the candidate’s safety profile at a 2000 mg/m2 dosage.

Since the last trial update on October 25, a patient with relapsed peripheral T cell lymphoma (PTCL) reported a partial response, meaning the size of the cancer tumour has decreased.

Prescient believes the increasing clinical responses provides growing confidence in PTX-100’s potential in an area of poorly-met medical need.

Investor briefing

Prescient CEO and managing director Steven Yatomi-Clarke will update shareholders on the company’s clinical endeavours at a virtual investor briefing today.

Yatomi-Clarke will provide a company update, expand on Prescient’s oncology pipeline and brief investors on what’s happening in the PTX-100 phase 1b expansion cohort study.

Those interested can register here for the 12:00 pm (AEDT) presentation on Wednesday, November 2.

For those unable to attend, Prescient’s investor presentation is available here.
