4:05pm: Nine Mile Metals, Sassy Gold price gains continue late afternoon
Nine Mile Metals Ltd (CSE:NINE) shares jumped 22% to $0.365 on Tuesday after the mineral exploration company announced that it has drilled and confirmed a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system at its inaugural California Lake project drill program in New Brunswick’s Bathurst Mining Camp.
Nine Mile added that the holes also confirmed both the geological sequence and structure that is known to host the mineralization, including numerous zones of massive copper, lead, zinc, silver, gold bearing, BMC style, VMS mineralization.
As well, shares of VSBLTY Groupe Technologies Corp (CSE:VSBY) shot up 13% to $0.22 as the provider of security and retail analytics technology software said the US Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent No 11,481,809 for the firm’s software platform that allows for specific content to be triggered by biometric and proximity triggers while ensuring the greatest protection for identity and privacy since no data collected is able to be inferred to personally identifiable information.
VSBLTY noted the patent is the first awarded to the company, initially for use on large form vending, with additional applications to follow.
Trillion Energy International Inc (CSE:TCF), meanwhile, reported flow test results for the South Akcakoca-2 natural gas well at SASB gas field, offshore Turkey, which was completed and tested at a rate of 7.0 - 8.2 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/day). The final log evaluation identified a total of 32.9 metres of natural gas pay within 5 sands in the Akcakoca Member, according to the company. Trillion Energy stock moved up 11% to $0.475 following the announcement.
In addition, shares of Sassy Gold Corporation (CSE:SASY) continued to advance Tuesday, up 20% to $0.245 following a 14% gain on Monday, as the exploration stage resource company said 18 drill holes, or 3,740 meters, were completed at the Westmore Discovery Zone at its flagship Foremore project in the heart of British Columbia’s Golden Triangle region.
Sassy added that 2,420 drill core samples have been shipped to the lab with assays pending.
And, Arrow Exploration Corp (TSXV:AXL) shares rose 5% to $0.315 after the oil and gas producer/explorer announced, in an operations update, that following successful testing of the East Pepper well in Canada in September, the tie-in has now been completed, and production began on October 25.
Arrow also noted that corporate production as of October 27, 2022, is approximately 2,530 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) net.
