TSX resumes trading after technical glitch fixed

Trading resumed at 11:10 EST, according the TMX Group website

Trading has resumed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, which halted trading due to a technical issue shortly after the opening bell today.

Trading restarted at 11:10 EST, according to the TMX website. The TMX Group operates the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange and TSX Alpha markets.

TMX said it was experiencing a connection issue at the time with the TSX order entry symbol range M to S, according to the Canadian Press.

By noon Tuesday the big board was up 0.6% at 19,545 points while the Venture Exchange was 0.4% higher at 598 points.
