GS Chain PLC (LSE:GSC), which is seeking to identify investment opportunities within the technology sector, said it is assessing fintech companies for acquisition as it announced its maiden audited results for the period ended 30 June 2022.
The company was admitted to the main market of the London Stock Exchange on 13 May this year. The company was successful in raising over £1mln from the sale of share capital in the company.
The directors are assessing the companies for acquisition, however, during the period ended 30 June 2022, no significant costs were incurred in respect of this, said Alan Austin, the company's CEO.
GS Chain is specifically targeting companies that leverage state-of-the-art technology in fintech, automotive, real estate, banking, finance, telecommunications, and blockchain industries.
The audited results for the period to 30 June 2022 show the company recorded a loss of £303,304. The biggest cost driver was £195,175 in accrued directors fees, £4,496 in professional fees and £10,608 in accounting and audit fees.
As of 30 June 2022, the company held £953,838 in its bank account.
