Sipa Resources Ltd (ASX:SRI) has set the drill bit spinning as part of an aircore campaign over its Warralong project in northern WA.
The 50-hole, 1,500-metre program will hone in on one of Warralong’s key gold targets, where elevated pathfinder elements were identified in a previous drill campaign.
Last year’s program drilled down into anomalous silver, arsenic, bismuth, thorium and uranium in the only drill line that traversed the anomaly, so this year’s work is designed to properly test the magnetic feature.
Sipa’s land package at Warralong spans more than 1,000 square kilometres and has endured little to no previous exploration.
The Warralong project is considered prospective for ‘Hemi’-style intrusion-hosted gold, as well as lithium-tin-tantalum mineralisation.

Commenting on the program, Sipa managing director Pip Darvall said: “Our hunt for another Hemi continues at Warralong.
“This current program builds on our previous regional programs and is targeting a very specific anomaly.
“The samples collected will add to our substantial pipeline of results we have currently moving through the laboratory and investors should see a steady flow of news over the coming weeks.
