Deepspatial Inc announced it has closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement of unsecured convertible debentures for total gross proceeds of $572,500. The debentures will bear interest at 10% per annum, from the date of issuance payable upon the earlier of the maturity date or the date of any conversion thereof. The debentures will mature on the date that is two years from the date of issuance. Until the maturity date, the holders of the outstanding debentures may convert the principal into units of the company at a conversion price of $0.15 per unit, with each unit consisting of one share of the company and one-half of one warrant, with each warrant exercisable into one at a price of $0.30 for a period of two years from the date of the closing, subject to acceleration.

PyroGenesis Canada Inc started the final 72 hour non-stop GEN3 PUREVAP Quartz Reduction Reactor (QRR) high-temperature dynamic test on October 25 this year. The pilot plant is in the final pre-production testing phase, which includes four process improvement tests and this is the last assessment step, after which feedstock will be fed into the system, so that process improvement tests can begin. For each test, the system will be ramped up to full design parameters, it will be used to produce Silicon materials, allowed to cool, and then inspected to collect wear and tear data. It will then be prepared for the next series of tests after all systems pass inspection.
