Rambler Metals and Mining suspended as it seeks to delay loan repayments

Repayments of the loan are due to start on 31 October

Rambler Metals and Mining PLC (AIM:RMM, TSX-V:RAB) shares were suspended from trading on AIM on Thursday pending clarification of its financial position.

The company, in a statement, gave a brief update following its recent interim results regarding an outstanding US$16.5mln loan owed to NewGen Resource Lending Inc which is the company’s principal secured creditor.

Repayments are due to begin from 31 October and the company told investors it has been in active discussions to defer or reschedule the repayment of its loan.

The rescheduling is intended to be part of a wider restructuring of the company's finances, but an agreement has not yet been reached with NewGen.
