Doubleview Gold Corp (TSX-V:DBG, OTCQB:DBLVF) CEO Farshad Shirvani tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that the company has "hit the jackpot" after it achieved 89% scandium extraction from preliminary metallurgical extraction tests on flotation tailings of its HAT Deposit material in British Columbia.
Shirvani says even higher recoveries are expected with the optimization of extraction conditions.
The addition of scandium - now recognized as an essential mineral - to a polymetallic resource which includes gold, copper, cobalt, silver and PGE could distinguish the HAT Deposit as a world-class resource, he adds.
