Bhang Inc (CSE:BHNG, OTCQB:BHNGF) has appointed two new directors to its board, the company announced, adding a pair of strong voices in the cannabis and communications fields.
The first, Sara Lee Irwin, is a “nationally recognized public voice on cannabis and cannabinoids for therapeutic use,” the company said, with decades of experience as an industry consultant and as a chronic pain patient herself.
She was a founding director of Miraculo Inc, an integrated media, technology and consumer product company in the medical cannabis and CBD sector that was recently acquired by Trees Corporation (NEO:TREE.AQN), and was director of investor relations at Cannasat Therapeutics, which in 2006 became the first publicly-traded herbal cannabis company in North America.

The other new director is Paul Pellegrini, the executive chairman and founder of Sussex Strategy Group. He brings expertise in issues management, crisis communications and stakeholder relations, strategic consulting and relationship building.
Pellegrini currently serves on the campaign cabinet for the new Vaughan hospital and sits on the board of directors for CHAR Technologies.
Irwin and Pellegrini replace Jessica Billingsley and Andrea Johnston, who resigned from their positions, the company said.
Las Vegas-based Bhang bills itself as delivering exceptional sensory experiences to consumers through an extensive portfolio of more than 50 master-chef-created cannabis, CBD and terpene products including gourmet chocolates, pre-rolls, CBD isolate and hempsticks.
The company's chocolates are among the top-selling edibles in seven US states and Canada, and its CBD products are globally distributed.
