Clothing retailer Gap Inc (NYSE:GPS) is the latest to cut ties with Kanye West after the rapper was accused of antisemitic comments.
Gap said it will be removing products created in partnership with Yeezy, Kanye’s clothing brand, from its stores.
YeezyGap.com, the website which allowed customers to shop for the product, has also been shut down by the retailer, with customers redirected to the Gap website.
“Antisemitism, racism and hate in any form are inexcusable and not tolerated in accordance with our values,” Gap said.
Fellow fashion and clothing retailers Adidas and Balenciaga have also cut ties with the rapper.
And it isn’t just the fashion brands.
JPMorgan Chase closed the account it had with the rapper earlier this month, while talent agency Creative Artists Agency dropped Kanye, or Ye, this week.
The law firm which represented the 45-year-old Grammy winner in his divorce from influencer Kim Kardashian said it was no longer representing Kanye.
Meanwhile, Twitter, soon to be taken over by Elon Musk, and Instagram, both suspended his accounts on the grounds of violating their terms-of-use policies.
