Keywords Studios PLC (AIM:KWS, OTC:KYYWF), the creative and technical services provider to the global video games industry, has said it will appoint current chief financial officer Jon Hauck as the company’s chief operating officer following the appointment of a successor CFO.
The company said its board has initiated a comprehensive process to identify a suitable candidate for the CFO role, which Hauck will continue in until a successful appointment and after a transition period.
The appointment re-establishes Hauck’s COO role and will support the long-term growth and strategic priorities of the business, Keywords said.
Commenting on the decision, Keywords chief executive officer Bertrand Bodson said: “I am delighted that Jon has agreed to take on this new role. We have worked very closely over the past year to set the new strategy for Keywords, and this will enable Jon to focus on the operational performance of the business and the M&A strategy whilst strengthening our executive team with the addition of a new CFO."
