4:05pm: Orosur Mining, Progressive Planet rallies late afternoon
Trillion Energy International Inc (CSE:TCF) shares continued to move higher Friday, up as much as 7% before closing down 3% to $0.45 on volume of more than 11.4 million shares following a 2% advance on Thursday, after the natural gas junior announced preliminary gas indications from its South Akçakoca 2 well in the Black Sea off the coast of Turkiye, which the company says suggest there is 32.0 metres (m) of potential natural gas pay within 5 sands in the Akcakoca Member (SASB production zone), with two sands greater than 10m of gas pay each.
“We eagerly anticipate receiving the tested actual gas flow rates, which will occur soon,” Trillion Energy CEO Arthur Halleran said in a statement.
As well, shares of Snowline Gold Corp (CSE:SGD) added 5% at $2.73 as the Yukon-focused gold explorer said it has completed the previously-announced acquisition of a large portfolio of Yukon Territory exploration assets from StrikePoint Gold Inc for C$500,000 in cash and the issuance of 500,000 Snowline shares.
Faraday Copper Corp (CSE:FDY), meanwhile, reported that it has received conditional approval to list its common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The exploration company, which is focused on advancing copper projects in Arizona and Nevada, noted its shares will continue to trade under the same ticker symbol at a date to be determined later. Faraday Copper popped 19% to $0.44 following the announcement.
In addition, Orosur Mining Inc (TSXV:OMI) shares gained 46% to $0.19 after the junior explorer announced assay results from four additional diamond drill holes from the Pepas and Pupino prospects at its flagship Anzá project in Colombia, which included 80.6m of 3.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from surface as well as 41.8m of 5.2 g/t gold.
And, Progressive Planet Solutions Inc (TSXV:PLAN) shares rose 15% to $0.30 after the manufacturer of agricultural, household and industrial products said it has signed an initial purchase order with building materials manufacturer ZS2 Technologies Ltd to provide a proprietary blend of PozGlass and PozZeo.
