In its Q2 results, the car company affirmed its guidance for the FY22, saying adjusted EBIT will likely be between US$11.5bn and US$12.5bn, up 15% to 25% from 2021

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F), which has seen its stock plummet 46% in 2022 so far, is due to unveil its third-quarter results on Wednesday 26 October.

In the past week, Elon Musk’s Tesla revealed in its Q3 results that Ford was its closest competitor in terms of electric vehicle (EVs) sales in America between July and September.

Ford sold 18,257 EVs in the US in Q3, according to KBB data, equating to approximately 9% of the total number of sales in the States.

In its Q2 results, Ford affirmed its guidance for the full-year 2022, saying adjusted earnings before income and tax (EBIT) will likely be between US$11.5bn and US$12.5bn, up 15% to 25% from 2021.
