Alto Metals continues to unearth high-grade gold at Indomitable; Musketeer strike now more than 900 metres

“Our drilling is continuing to focus on growing our shallow gold resources at the Sandstone Gold Project, along with testing the exceptionally high-grade gold targets recently identified at the historical Oroya and Hacks mines," said MD Mat

Alto Metals Ltd (ASX:AME) has struck more shallow, high-grade gold mineralisation at Musketeer prospect within the Indomitable camp of the Sandstone Gold Project, increasing the prospect’s strike to more than 900 metres.

Results of note from Musketeer include:

  • 9 metres at 5.0 g/t gold from 71 metres, including 1-metre at 15.3 g/t from 74 metres;
  • 19 metres at 1.5 g/t from 73 metres, including 1-metre at 11.8 g/t from 73 metres;
  • 7 metres at 3.4 g/t from 51 metres, including 1-metre at 22.2 g/t from 55 metres;
  • 5 metres at 5.1 g/t from 80 metres, including 2 metres at 10.8 g/t from 80 metres;
  • 6 metres at 2.9 g/t from 86 metres, including 1-metre at 9.8 g/t from 87 metres;
  • 3 metres at 3.3 g/t from 60 metres, including 1-metre at 9.4 g/t from 61 metres;
  • 7 metres at 1.5 g/t from 84 metres, including 1-metre at 5.2 g/t from 89 metres;
  • 9 metres at 1.2 g/t from 159 metres, including 4 metres at 2.3 g/t from 161 metres;
  • 11 metres at 1.0 g/t from 38 metres, including 3 metres at 2.0 g/t from 38 metres;
  • 18 metres at 1.0 g/t from 50 metres, including 4 metres at 2.2 g/t from 50 metres; and
  • 6 metres at 2.0 g/t from 85 metres, including 2 metres at 5.1 g/t from 85 metres.

Musketeer represents a relatively shallow body of mineralisation that remains open to the northeast, southwest and at depth, offering further exploration upside for the Indomitable camp.

More potential to be unlocked

"These latest excellent results continue to highlight the scale of potential we see at Indomitable, which sits within a much larger 20-kilometre gold corridor,” Alto Metals managing director Matthew Bowles said.

“Our drilling at Musketeer has, along with historical drilling, now defined shallow high-grade oxide gold mineralisation over 900 metres of strike that remains open.

“Our drilling is continuing to focus on growing our shallow gold resources at the Sandstone Gold Project, along with testing the exceptionally high-grade gold targets recently identified at the historical Oroya and Hacks mines.”
