Brookside Energy begins Wolf Pack Well pad construction in SWISH AOI within world-class Anadarko Basin

The company has begun all-weather pad and access road construction for the high-impact Wolf Pack 36-25-1S-4W SXH 2 Well, the first well to be developed as part of a phase two development drilling program.

Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) has begun construction of the all-weather pad for the high-impact Wolf Pack 36-25-1S-4W SXH 2 Well, within the SWISH area of interest (AOI) in the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma, US.

The Anadarko Basin has a long history of oil and gas production; current production is estimated to be about 600,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day.

Brookside's US operating subsidiary Black Mesa Energy, LLC has mobilised bulldozers, scrapers and excavators to the site to begin construction of the well pad with work progressing on schedule.

Black Mesa teams are regularly on-site to monitor progress and ensure construction of the pad and access road is completed safely, efficiently and within budget.

SWISH phase two development drilling

Brookside’s Wolf Pack Well is the first to be developed as part of a phase two development drilling program in the SWISH AOI, targeting the Sycamore formation.

Wolf Pack will be drilled as a mid-length horizontal well to a projected measured depth of about 17,000 feet, including a 7,300-foot lateral section drilling within the Sycamore formation that will subsequently be cased with production tubing to be perforated and treated to allow production of oil and rich gas.
