The Coretec Group (OTCQB:CRTG) CEO Matt Kappers tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that the company is developing the 'next generation battery' for electric vehicles using its expertise in silicon anodes and cyclohexasilane (CHS), which delivers six times the silicon in one molecule.
The company's battery development program, Endurion, uses the unique characteristics of CHS and similar molecules to develop batteries that last longer and charge faster.
Kappers says the goal in the energy-storage market is three fold: energy density, durability and charging times.
