United Lithium Corp (CSE:ULTH) announced that it has completed staking of more than 300 unpatented lode claims covering nearly 25 square kilometers near Ohio City, Colorado, establishing a large land position in a historic lithium-beryllium producing area of Gunnison County, Colorado.
The exploration and development company said the claim block covers or surround all past lithium, cesium, tantalum (LCT) pegmatite production in the Ohio City area.
“We are planning an integrated exploration program to evaluate the Ohio City area land holdings,” United Lithium CEO Michael Dehn said in a statement.

“The program will include local area detailed geologic mapping and additional rock chip sampling and with anomalies well-defined, targets with be drilled in the coming year when permits and contracts are in place,” Dehn added.
United Lithium noted a reconnaissance rock chip sampling program was carried out in conjunction with the staking program to identify new areas for detailed field work.
It added that samples have been submitted to the laboratory and the company is awaiting assay results.
All claims still require final approvals from the Bureau of Land Management, the company said.
United Lithium is a hard rock lithium explorer with projects in Canada, the US, Sweden, and Finland. The group aims to be a sustainable supplier to the rapidly growing lithium-ion battery market and is also testing lithium processing technology to drive more environmentally-friendly product with higher recoveries.
